I would like to ask for some information about Vietnamese visa entry and stay less than 15 days for my Swedish friend. He will across the border from Cambodia to entry Vietnam by BUS.
I’ve known that Swedish citizen passport doesn’t need to apply Visa when visit Vietnam and stay less than 15 days. But if he entry by bus from Cambodia, is it the same rule? Does he have to apply for something else before entry?

Vietnamese visa for overnight stay
We will be on a cruise ship which will supposedly arrange for our visa. In Halong Bay 7 couples will get off the ship and stay overnight on a Junk in the Bay. Do we need a different visa if we stay overnight off the ship? The rest of our days in Vietnam we will be off the ship during the day but will be sleeping on the ship
