My partner and I are planning to holiday in Vietnam from the UK for a 14 day period before Christmas, and as UK passport holders we understand that we can currently enter by flight visa-free. But during that period we also plan to visit Laos for a few days. We shall then return to Vietnam by flight from Laos to Hanoi. Our total vacation will not exceed 14 days, when we shall fly back to the UK.

Do UK Passport holders need a visa to visit Vietnam via a cruise ship?

As a British Passport holder who is going to Vietnam arriving in Vietnam on the 11th October and leaving on the 21st so in this instance as a UK passport holders I can visit visa free for up to 15 days. However, If i then am transiting back through Vietnam on the 26th of October back to London. Does this mean I will require a visa as I am transiting Vietnam within the same 30 day period?

I will only be there 5 days, I will not be living the island to any other city, my US Visa does not expire until 9 years from now. - When I tried to do this on-line, the drop down menu for arrival airport did to include Phu Quoc. Please advise asap, as I need to get this Vietnam Visa if needed.

I am travelling to Ho Chi Minh Cits in October for 3 days then flying to Cambodia for 10 days, then flying back to Ho Chi Minh for 2 days before flying back to England.
I understand that I can use a single entry visa or e-visa for the first entry to Vietnam and UK citizens can have 15 days without a visa for the second visit, as it is with 30 days of leaving in the first occasion.

My wife and I are travelling from Sydney to Paris on Air Vietnam. We arrive in Ho Chi Minh on July 12th and fly out on July 13th having stayed in an hotel near the airport overnight. Since German citizens are still exempt from the visa requirement for stays to a mximum of 15 days, I would like to ask, if I can travel by bus to Vietnam in January 2018 via the border crossing between Attapeu（southern Laos) to Ngoc Hoi (Central Vietnam), without needing a visa or any other formalities.

If I apply the visa on line, the arrival date is Oct 18 , after one day if I change my ticket arrive 1 day later Oct 20 ....is the Visa still valid or I have to inform visa department that I will arrive 2 days later at Ho chi Minh airport??

but on the website it says, " Prepare 2 passport sized photos 4x6cm and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($25 for single entry; $50 for multiple entry visa.

And so I'm a little confused if the stamping fee is the $135 that you mention which seems really high or if it's the $25 that the website mentions.

We received forms for Visa-on-arrival in Vietnam in May 10 with the intention of arriving in Saigon on May 30. On the day before departing US, my wife broke her arm and had to have a cast applied and was advised by her doctor to not fly with the cast. That will delay our departure from the US until June 15. I am a US citizen visiting Vietnam in December for about 2 weeks. I am debating whether to apply for the "Visa On Arrival. I will explain why. My flight arrives late (10:00 pm) at Hanoi airport. With the late arrival, my concern is that the Immigration office for Visa stamp will be close. Do you know their hours?
