"Suspension of visa waiver for UK citizens; The Vietnamese government has suspended the visa waiver programme for UK citizens with effect of 12 March 2020"

Hi, I have a double nationality Vietnamese and French. My Vietnamese passport is expired, so I must enter in Vietnam by French passport on 29 January 2020.
13 February 2020 I must quit Vietnam because my free Visa is expired this date. I will go to Singapore on 13 February 2020 and return to Vietnam on 15 February 2020. I want to re-enter in Vietnam on this date 15 February. If I demand a visa for 3 months, it's possible please ?

However we fly tomorrow (1st Feb) and our visa application still says in process. Are the applications likely to be processed before tomorrow afternoon? If not what are our options?

I am Sri Lankan and kindly advice as to which site i should use. The cost per person varies between the two.
The first site requests for additional documents. If this is the correct site, kindly let me know as to how to upload the documents, as there is no separate place to upload.

Hi there we have got a single entry visa and forgot that we need a multi entry. We will leave Vietnam and go to Laos but fly back in to Hanoi for 4 days before flying back to NZ. Hello, I will take a flight with VietJet from Seoul to Yangoon, but the flight makes a stop over of 2 hrs in Ho Chi Minh in order to fly to Myanmar (om february 5th)

Hi Its been a month that I am traveling vietnam but shortly I am leaving for a week to Australia.but I wanna come back for a few more days in vietnam .
My question is are there is any problem for asking a new visa a few days after I leave the country to go back in ?

I currently have a 30 day tourist Visa, but I am currently in hanoi. I will need to change this to a 3 month business visa, which means I will need to leave the country to get it. However, I need it asap so that I can return as soon as possible. Can I request/apply for a different visa while my current one is still valid so that i am not out of the country for too long? Will there be problems when leaving when i have a current visa running, and another application put through? it's important to only stay out of Vietnam no longer than 1-2 days.

Hi, my e visa has taken a long time to come due to the form recording that I am female instead of male. I have chosen to Vietnam on my visa exemption. I read earlier on this page that I can extend this once in Vietnam but I have read elsewhere that you have to exit in order to come back in on the e visa. If I put the port of entry as a land border can i re enter Vietnam without first having to pay the fee for cambodia?

So I buy e visa online and print it out, at the entry border from Phenom Penh, they did not check my e visa and they wrote an expirary date in my passport for 15 days, now 6 days before my e visa is due to expire, I try and renew it in Hoi An and they take no notice of the e visa and tell me that they can only go off the date in my passport, even though the e visa is printed out for them to see with an expirary date.

They tell me that only Saigon and Hanoi can process e visa extensions.

I feel as though I have been scammed and I’m in a situation now where I am facing a fine of £250 which I cannot afford. I really don’t trust e visas.

I’ve known that Swedish citizen passport doesn’t need to apply Visa when visit Vietnam and stay less than 15 days. But if he entry by bus from Cambodia, is it the same rule? Does he have to apply for something else before entry?

I was forced to leave without getting a multiple visa because of a sudden decision.
As you know, I can stay for 15 days without visa now and after leaving Vietnam, I will not able to come into Vietnam again within one month.

We are now looking at moving to Vietnam from Cambodia and I am looking at applying for the Temporary Residence Visa for myself.
Do I qualify to apply for the 3 years Temporary Residence Visa? I do have all the necessary documents with me showing my Marriage Cert./Resident Address in HCMC/my wife Family Card and my Resident Card from the Police Department in HCMC.

We will be on a cruise ship which will supposedly arrange for our visa. In Halong Bay 7 couples will get off the ship and stay overnight on a Junk in the Bay. actually i only wanted to travel around Vietnam for 15 days for what I, as a German, don't need a visa within that time. Now the situation might have changed: I arrive in Ho Chi Minh at December 23 and might have to go back to Taipei at 29, want to come back then again to Ho Chi Minh at 30 and stay in the country until the 6th. Our group is arriving in Ho Chi minh on Jan 31, but we have a quick connection flight to Hanoi. We leave Hanoi on Feb 4 and fly back to Ho Chi Minh, and leave Ho chi minh the next day, Feb 5.

I have a plane from Paris to Ho Chi Minh by vietnam airline. But that plane has a 1h55 stop in Hanoi. If I choose the visa on Arrival, do I need to take the visa in Hanoi or Ho chi minh airport?

I'm Korean and now I'm in Laos. I had a Vietnam visa until 28th Aug, 2015(now expired already), and I departed from Hanoi on 17th, Aug, 2015.
Today, when I went to the airport in Laos, the Vietnam airlines staff said I can't take the plane, because I try to go back to Vietnam within 30 days without Visa.
So, I got helped from my Vietnamese friend and I can get my visa on 3rd Sept, 2015 before 2pm at the HCMC airport. (I will arrive at the HCMC at 3pm).
However, the staff in Vietnam airlines said that I should have the letter or the visa before check-in at Laos airport. If I don't have a letter or visa, they can't let me take the plane..... I can't understand.
So, I will get my Visa at HCMC airport and Vietnamese immigration will take care of it. My Vietnamese friend and I wonder why the airline staff in Laos asked me about Visa or the Letter and doesn't let me take the flight.....
now, I'm in a big trouble. I missed my flight today, and ruin my plan in Vietnam... please tell me that it is needed to show the visa or the letter to the airline. Thank you so much. please answer this asap.

I hold a UK British passport, travelling from Thailand to 'Hanoi international airport'. Iam travelling from Hanoi all the way down to 'ho chi Minh City' by public transport but half way down we may need to catch a plane from 'Da Nang' to 'Nha trang' to get to the bottom. We will be flying into Da Nang, staying for 5 days and then flying to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. From Phnom Penh we will be taking a Mekong Delta River Boat Cruise that will return us to Viet Nam after about 10 days in Cambodia. We will spend another 10 days in Vietnam and then return home. Total length of trip to Viet Nam and Cambodia 25 days. Do we need a Multiple or Single Visa? Our trip is in Oct 2015. How soon can start the application process?
